Reserving and payments

25% of the total amount is expected to confirm a reservation. 

Signature of the house rules via email is required. 

Proper identification must be provided with first deposit such as a picture of a driver’s license or passport.

30 days prior to your arrival the amount of your stay must be paid in full + a $500 deposit.

The $500 deposit will be reimbursed maximum 7 days following checkout and inspection of the property.

Payments can be done via interac transfer, check or cash.

Cancellation

Cancel 30 days or more before arrival and get a full refund minus $100 administration fee.

Cancellation 29 to 15 days before arrival, 75% of the total cost of the stay will be refunded.
Cancellation 14 to 7 days before arrival, 50% of the total cost of the stay will be refunded.
Cancellation less than 7 days before arrival, 25% of the total cost of the stay will be refunded.
Cancellation during the stay, 25% of the total cost of the remaining nights will be refunded.
Cancellation during a long-term stay, the above ratios will be applied.

The day on which the cancellation is communicated counts as one night.

The $500 deposit will be refunded in full for any cancellation before the arrival date.

Check-In

You may check-in anytime after 4pm. A door code will be provided and will not work before 4pm.

Checkout

Departure is 11:30am. It is important to respect this checkout time. $1 will be deducted from your deposit for every minute spent in the house passed checkout time.

Late checkouts are not available.

Please do your dishes, start the dishwasher and pick up after yourselves before leaving. If the house is left messy there will be a deduction from your deposit depending on the extent of the mess and photos will be provided as proof. For example unwashed dishes is $60.

Campfires

Campfires are allowed in a single designated area.

Fires must always be attended. Fires must be properly extinguished when finished.

Fires are disallowed during dry periods, consult this website to know if a fire warning is in effect.

Keep the water hose ready in warm months.

Firewood

Firewood is provided and located in the entrance, you should have plenty for your stay. If you are staying over a month and need more fire wood please let us know at least a week ahead.

Rules

No parties.

No animals.

No VTTs, motorbikes or other noisy recreational vehicles.

You must be at least 25 years old to rent.

Maximum 10 people at once.

Maximum 5 cars in the driveway. We keep an eye on the driveway through a wifi camera.

You are in a calm area, do not bother the deer, squirrels, birds, trees and neighbours with loud music or loud talking.

Top bunk bed can accommodate 110kg/250lbs maximum.

No smoking under a roof. Expect a minimum $250 cleaning charge if smoking under a roof is detected. This includes the entrance, we really want to keep the nice cedar smell.

Inspection

We thoroughly inspect the property after and before every stay and we highly recommend you do the same to identify any issues you would like to report.

Responsibility

If you cause damage to the property you are responsible. If one of your guests causes damage to the property you are responsible. Maison le Versant owners are not responsable for the following during your stay

     – damage caused to guests’ property

     – theft of guests‘ property

     – injury or death
